All Pool Play match ups were a blind draw (drawn at random). Scheduled game times were arranged by request on a first come, first serve basis, in order of registration and than traveling distance. We tried to work the schedule so everyone plays every other game, but because of travel requests, some teams may play back to back or have up to two games off.  We tried to honor everyone’s request; we hope this works out for all teams. If there are any mistakes please let me know ASAP.

IDAHO ASA Sanctioned

Four Age Groups- (age as of January 1st)- 12U, 14U and 16U (modified 16 & Under-- you may have up to 4 players who are 17 but who just finished their junior year)

4 Guaranteed four games! (TWO POOL PLAY AND DOUBLE ELIMINATION)

Official ASA Roster and Onsite Contact info sheet needs to be turned in at the red tent ONE HOUR before your scheduled game time

POOL PLAY

A. Pool play will last five (5) innings and will have a 60 - minute
    Time limit.

     DROP DEAD AT 60 MINUTES
B. International tie-breaker-- into effect when the 60 - minute time
     limit or five (5) innings have expired.
C. During Pool Play Games, you will be able to bat your entire
     roster with 

     open substitution OR bat nine, or use the DP/Flex
D. In Pool Play, Run Ahead Rule  will be in effect.

E. Home Team Determined by coin flip by the Umpire prior to the start of  the game.

F. Seeding will be determined by pool play record. If there is a tie,
     then we will go to runs allowed, lowest runs allowed =higher 
     seed. If there is a tie, then a coin flip will determine higher seed.
G. Pool Play is a blind draw

TOURNAMENT PLAY

A. Seven (7) innings or 75 minute time limit. No new inning will

     start after one hour and fifteen minutes (1:15).

B. International tie breaker--into effect when 75-minutes or

     seven (7) innings have expired.
C. In Tournament Play, Run Ahead Rule  will be in effect.

D. The Championship Game will last seven (7) innings or 90

     minutes unless the run-ahead rule is imposed.

E. Umpires will keep time-The Official score keeper will record   
    the game time in the official book

WINNER TAKES ALL-No “If Necessary” Game

3. OFFICIAL SCOREBOOK:
A. The home team will be the official scorekeeper for that game.
B. Use the official scorebook provided by the tournament.
C. SCOREBOOK GOES TO TOURNAMENT
    SCOREKEEPER AT END OF GAME.

4. HOME TEAM:
A. In TOURNAMENT play Home Team will be the higher seed

B. Managers/Team Captains need to be at the field 20 minutes
    before game

     time for the coin toss during pool play
C. If you are not present, the coin toss will take place
     without you.
D. Both line-ups will be given to the scorekeepers at that time.
E. HAVE THE OFFICIALBOOK READY BY GAME TIME.
F. Championship Game--undefeated team is home; WINNER
    TAKES ALL

5. DUGOUTS:
A. Home Team gets the third-base dugout except back-to-back
    games remain in same dugout.
B. Please keep dugouts & Park clean of all trash.

C. ASA dugout conduct will apply, only Team Members and
    Coaches.

6. INFIELD:
A. Practice is NOT allowed on the infield (that is defined as inside
     the foul lines on the dirt).
B. Adjacent areas can be used for warming up. Please watch
    where you’re warming up. Be respectful of others and 
    responsible

7. BIRTH CERTIFICATES:
A. Supply proof of age to the Tournament Director when checking

     in for the tournament. This includes everyone on the high

     school team. If a player is protested and she can’t prove her
     age, SHE WILL BE DISQUALIFIED
B. Please pick up your packet before checking into the fields.

8. PROTESTS:
A. The tournament committee will rule on all protests except rule

      interpretations.
B. The tournament umpire-in-chief will rule on interpretations.
C.  Appeals need to be made before the game begins. Protests
      needs to be made before the game continues or there will be  
      NO RULING
D. The tournament committee reserves the right to make rulings

     not specifically covered herein, which are deemed to be in the

     best interest of the tournament.
E. All decisions by the tournament committee are final.

 9. GAME TIMES:
A. You are responsible to check for game times and/or changes
     due to weather, late games, etc.
B. Game time is forfeit time.

C. The Tournament Director reserves the right to change the
     Tournament to single elimination, or just straight tournament 
     play. Also games may be shortened due to weather delays,
     natural disasters etc.

D. Games may be started early, be prepared 15 minute early…

Section 9 Run ahead Rule

A. A run ahead rule must be used at all Tournaments.

1.      Fastpitch – 15 after three innings, 12 after four innings or 8 after five innings

SPORTSMANSHIP

 You are responsible for your Team, Players and your Parents. PLEASE DO NOT EMBARRAS YOUR CHILD, YOURSELF or your TEAM.  Set a good example 100% of the time.

If any Rule Violation is “Flagrant” enough, your team may be suspended from the tourney.
