Oct. 28, 2008 Portland, OR - Idaho State University's softball team has found themselves a conference home. The Pacific Coast Softball Conference has extended invitations for conference membership to six schools, including Idaho State University, announced PCSC Commissioner Wendy Guthrie. ISU and the other five schools; California State University Bakersfield, University of Northern Colorado, Seattle University, Utah Valley University and Weber State University all accepted their bids and will begin competing in the PCSC in 2010, joining charter members Loyola Marymount, Portland State, Sacramento State, Saint Mary's, San Diego and Santa Clara to raise the conference's membership to 12 schools.
10/08/09- Coach Bobby Bosquez is a finalist for the national Liberty Mutual, Coach of the Year award. According to the award’s website, “The award recognizes the youth sport coaches in all fields that best demonstrates sportsmanship, integrity, responsibility and excellence,” and “…truly focuses on a coaches actions off the field as much as on it.”
There is no question that Bobby Bosquez fits the criteria above. Since the start of the DEMONS softball club inc., not only has he raised the bar for softball in Southeast Idaho, but the DEMONS are perennially championship contenders., coach Bosquez has raised the bar as to what we expect of all softball players both on and off the field. Coach Bosquez we are proud to have you in our community!
